The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team won its first match of the season over Elizabethtown College on Monday.

Christian Barnes led for the Cardinals in fourth singles, beating his opponent 6-1, 6-1, while teammate Kevin Kulaweic won first singles 6-2, 6-2.

Jarrett Pelton also beat his opponent in two sets 6-3, 6-3. In the deciding matchup of the match, Quinn Magiera managed to pull the win beating his opponent 1-6, 7-5, and 12-10.

First doubles pair Kulaweic and Magiera won 8-2, while John Miller and Adam Moran also claimed a victory winning 9-8, (7-5).
