The St. John Fisher College volleyball program went 1-1 in its two Empire 8 Conference matches on Saturday in Hoboken, N.J.
After dropping a 3-1 decision to the host Ducks, Fisher rallied for a split on the day, posting a 3-1 (25-20, 25-20, 21-25, 25-17) win over Alfred University.
Anna Marcy led Fisher (8-6 overall, 1-1 Empire 8) in the win, posting 15 kills, while senior
Megan Miller finished with 13.
Meghan Stonebarger paced the Cardinals with 42 assists, while
Elise Kruez (18) and
Katie Mazierski (11) each finished in double digit in digs.
In the match against Stevens,
Amanda Miller and
Megan Miller led Fisher with eight kills, while Marcy finished with 14 digs.
Fisher returns to action at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Nazareth College.
