FULL RESULTSThe St. John Fisher College men's tennis fell short 5-4 to non-conference opponent Daemen College on Friday afternoon in Amherst. With the loss, the Cardinals fall to 8-8 on the year.
Pat McGrath led Fisher, going 2-0 at first doubles and second singels. He paired up with
Jacob Zarzycki to beat Daemen 9-8, 7-5. McGrath won second singles 6-3, 6-2.
Kevin Kulawiec and
Kyle Stich picked up wins in singles play, as well. Kulawiec won 6-1, 6-4 at first singles, while Stich won 6-2, 6-2 at sixth singles.
The Cardinals wrap up their regular season at 12 p.m. Sunday when they visit Ithaca College.
