FULL RESULTSThe St. John Fisher College men's tennis team suffered its first Empire 8 Conference loss on Saturday, falling 9-0 to host Stevens Institute of Technology. With the loss, the Cardinals fall to 3-1 in Empire 8 play and 6-6 overall.
The first doubles pair of
Pat McGrath and
Jacob Zarzycki dropped an 8-4 decision. It is their first conference loss of the year, falling to 3-1 and 8-4 overall.
Second doubles duo
Adam Moran and
Kevin Kulawiec also saw their first Empire 8 loss of the year, falling 8-2.
In singles play, Kulawiec put up a fight at first singles, falling 6-4, 7-5. It was also his first conference loss of the year at that slot.
McGrath and Zarzycki also recorded their first conference losses at second and third singles, respectively.
The Cardinals visit Alfred University on Saturday to continue conference play.
