Cody Wiktorski scored on a on a wild pitch in the bottom of the ninth inning to push Fisher to a 6-5 walk-off victory over New Jersey City University Saturday in Winter Haven, FL.

With the win, Fisher improves to 3-4 overall while the Gothic Knights fall to 0-2.

After NJCU tied the game at 5 in the top half of the inning, Fisher got a huge boost from Wiktorski as he roped a triple. The junior captain then scored on a wild pitch to lift the Cardinals to the win.

Facing the bases loaded and two outs in the ninth,
Erin Moskal was able to get the final out of the inning get out of the jam.

New Jersey City scored the first run of the game in the opening inning but the Cardinals got two runs back in the bottom of the third to take a 2-1 lead.

Calvin Woolhiser singled to right field to earn an RBI in the inning and score
Jack Trotman.

Trailing 4-3 heading into the bottom half of the 7
th inning, Fisher was able to regain the lead 5-4 after notching two runs.Â

Wiktorski doubled in the inning to score
Victor Konstantinovsky on an unearned run. Wiktorkski moved into scoring positioning off a fly out from Woohiser, allowing
Mike Roman to notch an RBI single as the next batter.

Wiktorski finished 2-for-5, while Woolhiser notched two RBI. Konstantinovsky scored three runs for the Cardinals.

Fisher returns to action Sunday for a double header in Punta Gorda, FL staring at 1:30 pm against Marietta, followed by a 5 pm start with Ohio Wesleyan University.
