The nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College women's lacrosse program cruised to an 18-2 win at Alfred University on Friday afternoon. With the win, Fisher, ranked 17th nationally, improves to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in the Empire 8 Conference.
Fisher led 12-0 late in the first half, as seven different players scored Fisher's first eight goals.
Freshman
Kennedy Frink tallied a career-high six assists, while
Samantha Barton led the Cardinals with four goals and five draw controls.
Freshmen
Kaitlyn Agedal (three goals) and
Mackenzie LeVan (two goals, one assist) each recorded their first points at the collegiate level.
Chrissy Cook tallied two goals and one assist, while
Sierra Badger added one goal and two assists.
