The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team closed out its season falling 2-0 to the Houghton College Highlanders on senior day at Growney Stadium on Saturday.
The college celebrated the teams four seniors, Jamie Allocco,
Molly Beaton,
Erin Mosher, and
Sharon Husung on their accomplishments as members of the St. John Fisher women's soccer team.
The Highlanders maintained possession for the majority of the first half, leading the Cardinals 11-2 in shots in the first 45 minutes of play.
The first Houghton goal came in the 29th minute on a shot from 20 yards out, and would end the scoring plays with another goal in the 50
th minute.
Freshman goalkeeper
Melissa McGowan made her third start for the Cardinals, making three saves.
The Cardinals finished their 2015 season 5-12-1 overall, and 2-6-0 in Empire 8 Conference action.
