Volleyball Sweeps Day Two of SUNY Poly Invitational

The St. John Fisher College volleyball team won both of its Saturday games at the SUNY Polytechnic Institute Invitational after defeating Skidmore College 3-1 (25-23, 25-21, 18-25, 25-19) early in the day before going on to take down SUNY Plattsburgh 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-22) in the afternoon contest.

The Cardinals improve to 10-8 on the season with the two wins and also finished with a 2-1 record at the tournament after dropping Friday night's contest against host SUNY Polytechnic Institute.

Fisher will return to action at 7 p.m. on Wednesday as it hosts Empire 8 opponent Houghton College for Senior Day.
