FULL RESULTS

The St. John Fisher College men's tennis squad cruised to a 7-2 victory over host Oswego Thursday in non-conference action.

With the win Fisher improves to 4-8 overall while the Lakers drop to 3-4.

The Cardinals were clicking on all cylinders in doubles action taking all three matches.  Pat McGrath and Sheldon Mitchell won first doubles 8-1, while Nathaniel Ligon and Jacob Zarzycki teamed up for an 8-3 victory in second doubles.  Freshman Adam Moran and Daniel Tedesco took third doubles by a score of 8-3.

McGrath and Moran won their respective matches by identical scores 6-3, 6-2 in first and fourth singles.  Mitchell and Zarzycki rounded out the scoring for Fisher in second and third singles.

Fisher will host Stevens Institute at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
