The St. John Fisher College volleyball team fell in three sets Friday 25-17, 27-25, 25-19 against the College of Brockport at Bobby Wanzer Court.
Brockport improves to 6-6 overall with the win.
The Golden Eagles stormed out of the gates taking 17 of the first 25 points, going on to take set one. Fisher came out strong in the second set taking an 8-4 lead, but Brockport was able to slowly close the gap, eventually tying the score at 23, and taking the set 27-25.
Rachael Kline had nine kills on the day, while
Jasmine Davis and
Mandi Mereness both added three apiece.Â
Erin Crandall had 18 digs, while
Megan Miller had 14 digs.
The Cardinals fall to 8-7 overall and are back in action for two matches at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. tomorrow, hosting Oneonta State and Pitt-Bradford University.
