The season came to an end for the St. John Fisher College men's tennis program, as the Cardinals were eliminated in the semifinals of the Empire 8 Conference Championship by top-seeded Stevens Institute of Technology.

With the loss, Fisher finishes the season with a 6-11 mark.
Stevens jumped out to early leads at first and third doubles, with both duos going up by a pair of breaks at 4-1.
Needing just two points to clinch the matchup, Stevens won in straight sets at first and second doubles.

With the win, the Ducks improve to 14-7 overall with the victory, with all seven losses having come to national top-27 teams. Stevens will play the winner of No. 2 Ithaca College vs. No. 3 Nazareth College on Sunday in the title match.
