The St. John Fisher College volleyball team was swept by Houghton College today, losing to the Highlanders 3-0 in straight sets (25-13, 25-16, 25-9) at the Empire 8 Crossover.  This was the last of three games for the Cardinals this weekend, as they now fall to 1-2 in the conference and 2-11 overall.  Houghton moves to 2-1 in the Empire 8 and 7-6 overall.

Megan Miller led the Cardinals with six kills, while Andrea Gillespie totaled 14 digs.  Eric Stickler posted 12 assists and Paige Willson had five assisted blocks.

Fisher will return to action at 7 p.m. on Tuesday when the Cardinals have their first home match of the season, hosting University of Rochester on Bobby Wanzer Court.
