Courage Bowl VIII Game Notes and Links

The Courage Bowl is the annual football game between the St. John Fisher College Cardinals and the University of Rochester Yellowjackets. Each year, Camp Good Days selects honorary coaches and cheerleaders. These are Camp Good Days campers who have been diagnosed with cancer and would normally not be allowed to experience a real football game. The Camp Good Days Courage Bowl gives these campers that opportunity.

The Inaugural Courage Bowl was played in September of 2005 at Growney Stadium on the campus of St. John Fisher College and has been played each September since that time. The first five Courage Bowls were played at either Growney Stadium or Fauver Stadium on the campus of the University of Rochester. The last two Courage Bowls took place at Sahlen's Stadium in downtown Rochester.

This will be the last time that Rochester will be Fisher's opponent in the Courage Bowl, and for the final game in the series, the Yellowjackets will travel Saturday to play at 7 p.m. on the No. 9 Cardinals' home field.
