The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team improved to 5-1 in its last six matches, as the Cardinals cruised to a 9-0 win at SUNY Oswego on Monday.
Fisher (7-9) didn't a loss a single set on the day.
John Whelehan won 6-1, 6-1 at first singles and joined
Joseph Aquino for an 8-1 win at first doubles. Aquino also picked up a point at second singles.
Senior
Chris Maley won 7-6, 6-2 at third singles and earned a point at third doubles wth
Cody Schmitt. Schmitt won easily at fifth singles.
Tom Quinzi and
Pat McGrath held on for a 9-7 win at second doubles. McGrath won in straight sets at four singles, while
Jay Kline earned a point with a 6-1, 6-2 win at sixth singles.
