The St. John Fisher College volleyball team came through with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Hartwick College on Sunday in the Empire 8 Conference Crossover Tournament at Utica College.

With the win, Fisher finishes with a 4-3 record in the conference play, good for a three-way tie for third place in the conference standings. 
The Cardinals, however, will not advance to the Empire 8 Championship because the tie-breaking scenarios place them in fifth overall.

Fisher trailed 2-1 before picking up a 25-16 win in the fourth set and won the fifth and final set 16-14. Megan Miller led the way with 15 kills, while Jasmine Davis added 11.  Andrea Gillespie talllied 21 digs, while Miller, Erin Crandall and  Erica Stickler each totaled 14 digs.
