The St. John Fisher College men's basketball team fell to the Empire 8 Conference leading Stevens Ducks 73-53 on Friday night in Hoboken, N.J.
Fisher (9-8, 2-4) led for the majority of the first half until Stevens (13-3, 5-1) used a 17-3 run over the final 4:23 to take a 39-28 lead after the first 20 minutes.
That run continued into the second half, as Stevens went on to handle the visiting Cardinals the rest of the way. Fisher was only able to get within six points in the second half, with the Ducks ultimately building a 20-point advantage in the waning minutes.
