The St. John Fisher College women's tennis team held on for a 5-4 win over visiting College at Brockport on Thursday.

After winning two of three matches in doubles action, the Cardinals earned three more points in singles play.

Jordan Brungard sealed the win with a 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 win at fourth doubles, while Kathryn Pasier won 6-4, 6-3 at second singles.

Elena Vahl battled earned a point with a three-set win (6-1, 3-6, 6-2) at first singles.

Fisher will play at Utica College on Sunday.
