Courage Bowl VII Set for Saturday Night

The Courage Bowl is the annual football game between the St. John Fisher College Cardinals and the University of Rochester Yellowjackets. Each year, Camp Good Days selects honorary coaches and cheerleaders. These are Camp Good Days campers who have been diagnosed with cancer and would normally not be allowed to experience a real football game. The Camp Good Days Courage Bowl gives these campers that opportunity.

The Inaugural Courage Bowl was played in September of 2005 at Growney Stadium on the campus of St. John Fisher College and was played each September since that time at either Growney Stadium or Fauver Stadium on the campus of the University of Rochester until 2010. In 2010 the Courage Bowl was moved to a neutral site in Downtown Rochester. Fisher won that contest 49-21 to keep its undefeated record intact.

This year's Courage Bowl will be played at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Sahlen's Stadium in Downtown Rochester.
