The St. John Fisher College volleyball team
defeated the visiting SUNY Oswego Lakers 3-1 (25-13, 25-7, 16-25, 25-19) on Tuesday night in Manning and Napier Varsity Gymnasium. With the win the Cardinals improve to 5-1 on the season, losing their only match in the Bomber Invitational to eventual champion SUNY Geneseo.
Fisher was lead by
Becca Smith's 11 kills and five service aces. Smith also added five digs in the match. The Cardinals were led in digs by
Kelsey Osborne, who finished with 16.
Amy Street also provided valuable time on the court, supplying Fisher with a team-high 32 assists.
The Cardinals will return to action on Friday when they participate in the two-day RIT Invitational.
