The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team came through
with a 9-0 win over SUNY Oswego on Monday. Senior
Jake VanBuren, playing in his final home match, earned two points for Fisher, winning 6-0, 6-1 at third singles, while teaming up with
Greg Duffy for an 8-1 win at first doubles.
Daniel Parshall and
John Whelehan won 8-3 at second doubles, while both earning a point in singles action.
Tom Quinzi and
Dakota Packman won 8-4 at third doubles, while
Joseph Aquino (second singles),
Chris Maley (sixth singles) and Duffy (fourth singles) also won their matches.
Fisher (5-12) closes out the year on Wednesday at Ithaca College.
