The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team improved to 3-2 in the Empire 8 Conference with a 7-2 win over visiting Utica College on Sunday afternoon.

Fisher swept doubles action and won all singles matches, third throught sixth singles.

Jake VanBuren and John Whelehan won 8-5 at first doubles, while Dan Parshall and Chris Maley won 8-0 at second doubles.   VanBurnen, won all 12 games at third singles, Parshall won 6-1, 6-0 at fifth singles, while Maley won 6-1, 6-0 at sixth singles.

Greg Duffy won 6-4, 6-4 at fourth singles and combined with Jo Aquino for an 8-3 win at third doubles.
