Day two of the first Empire 8 Crossover is complete, with the Cardinals 1-1 on the day after
falling 3-1 to Nazareth at R.I.T. and turning around to
earn a 3-0 win over Alfred University.
In the morning match against Nazareth,
Becca Smith led the Cardinals with 16 kills and 16 digs.
Jenna Rath and newcomer
Sarah Stack combined for 25 digs, while
Amy Street contributed 34 assists. Senior
Sydney Kandefer tallied a team-best three blocks while adding 12 kills.
In the nightcap against Alfred, Smith once again led the Cardinals with 13 kills, followed close behind by Kandefer, who tallied 10 kills and added a block. Street dished out 27 assists.

The Cardinals, now 8-8 overall and 2-2 in conference play, return to action as they host U of R on Tuesday night at Manning & Napier Varsity Gym for a 7 p.m. non-conference match.
