The St. John Fisher College volleyball
suffered a heart-breaking loss on Tuesday night, losing in five game (25-19, 25-22, 21-25, 23-25, 15-12) to visiting Medaille College.
With the loss, Fisher falls to 6-6 on the year.
Becca Smith led Fisher with 14 kills and 18 digs, while
Sydney Kandefer totaled 12 kills and five blocks.
Amy Street paced her team with 43 assists, 10 digs and six blocks.
Jenna Rath finished with a team-high 10 digs, while
Kelsey Osborne and
Sarah Stack added 15 and 10, respectively.
Rachel Kline,
Amanda Pinak and
Laura Schwach each chipped in with nine kills.
Fisher returns to action on Saturday and will play Utica and Stevens in the Empire 8 Conference Cross Championship.
