The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team rallied to pick up a 6-3 win over visiting Alfred University on Tuesday in an Empire 8 Conference matchup.
The win marks Fisher's third straight win and improves the team's record to 2-3 in the Empire 8.
Fisher earned only one of three points in doubles action, as Greg Duffy and Chris Maley picked up an 8-3 win at second doubles, but the Cardinals won the final five singles matches to seal the win.
Freshman Dan Parshall earned the deciding point with a 6-1, 7-6 (7-5) win at fifth singles.
Tim Adler and Maley both battled back after losing the first sets to earn points. Adler won 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 at second singles, while Maley prevailed 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 at sixth singles.
John Whelehan and Duffy won in straight sets at third and fourth singles, respectively.
Fisher will return to action on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. as it plays host to Nazareth College.
