The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team picked up its first win of the season, as the Cardinals came through with a 7-2 win over host Utica College on Sunday.

Fisher earned two points in doubles play and won second through singles matches.

Greg Duffy and Chris Maley won 8-5 at second doubles.  Duffy also earned a point at fourth singles with a 6-3, 6-3 win, while Maley won all 12 games at sixth singles.

Tim Adler and Tom Quinzi won 8-5 at third doubles.  Adler also rallied to win 6-7, 6- 2, 6-4 at second singles.  Jake VanBuren and Dan Parshall rounded out the scoring with wins at third and fifth singles, respectively,
