The St. John Fisher College men's basketball team jumped out to a 40-16 lead after the opening 20 minutes and cruised to a 63-50 win over host Stevens Institute of Technology on Saturday.

With the win, Fisher improves to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in the Empire 8 Conference.

Five players scored between 12 and 8 points for the Cardinals.

Jordan Koch and Jason Norsen each scored 12 points, while Matt Newman added 11 points and a team-high eight boards.

Connor Henderson totaled 10 points, while Jordan Gettings added eight points.

Fisher will return to action on Sunday at Hartwick College.
