The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team (3-5-1) was saved by a goal by 
Megan Gee early into the second overtime period to secure 
a 3-2 victory over the Hartwick Hawks.
The Cardinals let go of a two-goal lead, allowing Hartwick to record two tallies in the last 12 and a half minutes of regulation play.  
Sarah Bihl put the Cardinals on the scoreboard in the 14 minute of play, off an assist from 
Amanda Siebert.  Gee found a rebound to fire into the net just 3:53 minutes into the second half to give Fisher the two-goal lead.
The Hawks retaliated twice within the last 12 and a half minutes, forcing overtime.  The first 10 minutes of overtime were scoreless.  Gee recorded her second goal, the game-winner, 1:52 into the second overtime.
The Cardinals improve to 2-1 in Empire 8 play.  They return to play in another Empire 8 contest when they travel to Elmira to take on the Soaring Eagles at 1 p.m.
