The St. John Fisher College volleyball team saw only defeat on the second and final day of the Bomber Invitational held at Ithaca College.

Fisher (4-4) fell to SUNY Oneonta in its first match 3-1 (26-28, 25-22, 9-25, 23-25). Laura Schwach came in with eight kills, while Becca Smith had a team-high 12 digs.

The Cardinals went on to drop their second match to R.I.T. Fisher was again defeated 3-1 (25-20, 18-25, 15-25, 14-25). Schwach, Elaina Braun and Jenna Waldron paced the team. Schwach had eight kills and three blocks, Braun tallied up the stat sheet with seven kills, four service aces and ten digs, and Waldron had a team-high 14 digs.

Fisher returns to action Wednesday, September 16 when they host Nazareth at 7 p.m.
