Bradley Powers Softball to Sweep Over SLU

Kristi Bradley was a combined 5-for-8 with two home runs, a double, and two RBI in the doubleheader sweep of St. Lawrence on Sunday.

Senior Kristi Bradley homered in each game of Sunday's doubleheader versus host St. Lawrence University as the St. John Fisher College softball team picked up a sweep over the Saints in non-conference action. The Cardinals recorded a 6-3 win in the first game, and closed out the series with an 11-2 decision.

Bradley went 2-for-3 with one home run in the first game, while junior catcher Meghan Graves, who was also 2-for-3 in the win, batted in one run.

 Amanda Shevchuk struck out eight batters in the complete-game win (13-5).
 
In the second game, Bradley singled, doubled and homered to account for one run, while Samantha Vara picked up two RBI with a triple. Megan Zoerb was a perfect 3-for-3 with another run-scoring triple.  Lauren O'Brien (double) and Katelyn Stubbendeck
(two RBI) each got two hits.
 
Chrissy Capalbo struck out three over four and two-thirds innings to remain unbeaten on the year at 5-0.
