The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team
came through win a 6-3 win at Alfred University on Friday.
Jake VanBuren earned the deciding point with a 6-3, 6-0 win at fifth singles. He also teamed with
Jack Forrest for an 8-5 win at second doubles. Forrest won 6-0, 6-1 at sixth singles.
Seniors Mike O'Connor and
Karl Schiefer both combined to earn three points. O'Connor battled back to win 4-6, 7-5, 10-5 at third singles, while Schiefer won 6-0, 6-2 at fourth singles. The duo combined for an 8-0 victory at third doubles.
