The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team lost its first match since returning from Hilton Head, S.C. on Saturday,
suffering a 6-3 loss at SUNY Oneonta.
Fisher (3-5) picked up a point with an 8-6 win from
Jake VanBuren and
Jack Forrest at third doubles. The duo also earned Fisher's other two points with singles victories.
VanBuren won 6-3, 4-6, 10-8 at fourth singles, while Forrest won 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 at sixth singles.
The Cardinals, who are 2-0 in the Empire 8 Conference, will host Roberts Wesleyan College on Wednesay and will travel to conference-rival Ithaca College the following day.
