The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team stayed perfect in Empire 8 competition on Thursday, defeating East-Avenue rival Nazareth College 7-2 at Mendon Racquet Club. The win improves the Cardinals' record to 3-5 overall, 2-0 in the E8, while Nazareth falls to 0-2, 0-1.

The Cardinals swept all three doubles matches to earn their first three points, with senior Mike O'Connor locking up the victory with his win at third singles.

Fisher will return to action at 2 p.m. on Saturday to battle host College at Oneonta.
