Not a Super Sunday For These Cardinals

Nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College lost 64-61 in overtime on Sunday against host Stevens Institute of Technology in men'sbasketball action.
 
 Fisher, ranked 21st nationally, scored its only points in overtime on a 3-pointer from Connor Henderson, who finished with a career-high 17 points, giving the Cardinals a 61-60 lead, but failed to score again over the final 4:12 of the extra period. Henderson and Ozell Franklin each attempted 3-pointers in the final moments that would have tied the game, but both shots were no good.
 
Fisher jumped out to a 6-0 lead to start the game, but quickly fell behind, trailing by as many as eight in the second half. The Cardinals regained lead, however, on a free throw from Franklin with 2:13 left, giving his team a 58-57 lead.   Fisher's Will Cornett attempted a jumper with five seconds left in regulation, but failed to connect.
