The St. John Fisher College volleyball team fell to SUNY Fredonia tonight at Manning & Napier Varsity Gym in a five-game thriller (28-26, 11-25, 17-25, 25-22, 10-15).  The Cardinals drop to 8-16 with the loss.

Becca Smith recorded 13 kills on the night, while Elaina Braun led the team with 35 assists.  Jenna Waldron picked up 26 digs.  Unfortunately, the Cardinals fell just short in a nail-biting fifth game.

Fisher returns to action when it hosts a tri-match here on campus on Saturday.  Matches are at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
