It wasn't a great weekend for the St. John Fisher College volleyball team, as the Cardinals dropped all four of their matches at the SUNY Fredonia Invitational.
On Saturday, the Cardinals
lost 3-2 to Elmira College, after winning the first two games (22-25, 23-25, 25-19, 25-22, 15-6).
Jenna Waldron led the Cardinals with 32 digs, while
Amy Street added 17 assists. Later in the day, Fisher
lost 3-1 (25-15, 25-17, 15-25, 25-16) to SUNY Cortland.
Brittany Rowan collected eight kills and 12 digs in the loss.
On Friday, Fisher
lost 3-1 (21-25, 25-14, 25-23, 25-23) to the host Blue Devils, despite 44 assists and 28 digs from senior
Elaina Braun. Freshman
Jenna Rath collected a career-high 26 digs in the losing effort.
Fisher also
lost 3-0 to Gallaudet on Friday evening.
