The St. John Fisher College men's basketball team had its seven-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday,
as the Cardinals dropped a 56-36 decision to host Rochester Institute of Technology on Tuesday in an Empire 8 Conference matchup.
R.I.T. went on a 10-2 run over the final 4:24 of the first half to take a 30-21 lead into the locker room. The Tigers then went on another 10-2 run over the first eight minutes of the second half to take command.

Trevor Stearns led the Cardinals with a career-high eight points to lead the Cardinals.
Fisher (7-2 overall, 2-1 Empire 8) will return to action at 8 p.m. on Friday, as the Cardinals travel to Utica College for the second contest in a seven-game road trip.
