BOX SCORE
In a rematch of the JPMorgan Chase Tournament's final game exactly one week ago, Fisher defeated East Avenue and Empire 8 Conference rival Nazareth College for the second time in as many meetings this season.
Sophomore
Ozell Franklin poured in a career-high 24 points in Fisher's 83-77 win over the Golden Flyers in front of a raucous crowd at Fisher's Manning & Napier Varsity Gym.

Franklin scored 17 of his game-high 25 in the first half, including a 2-for-5 effort from beyond the 3-point line. Fisher led the Golden Flyers by nine at the intermission, 45-36, and continued to keep Nazareth from getting back into the game.

Over the final 20 minutes, Fisher never allowed Nazareth to come any closer than six points while building a lead as large as 13. Nazareth trimmed the Fisher advantage to six in the final minute, but free throws, including three from
Matt Newman, sealed the victory.

With Nazareth guard Corey McAdam sitting after picking up his third foul in the first half, Fisher built a six point lead with a 10-4 run midway through the opening stanza. The Cardinals still led by six with two minutes to play in the half, but increased their lead to nine behind a 3-pointer and jumper from
Connor Henderson.

Newman tallied 15 points and four assists, with
Brandon Witte adding 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field.
Michael Wopperer finished with seven boards and was the team's top rebounder.

Fisher will return to action next Friday at Hartwick College.
