Volleyball Wraps Up Action at Bomber Invitational

The St. John Fisher College volleyball team participated in the Bomber Invitational this past weekend at Ithaca College. The Cardinals finished in 10th place after earning one win in a two-day span.
 
In the Cardinals' four-match showing for the Invitational, sophomore middle blocker Sydney Kandefer finished with 34 kills, 40 digs, four service aces, and led the team with 24 blocks. Senior Kayleigh Cassetta added 15 blocks for the tournament. Alyssa Ziobrowski also led the offense over the weekend with 48 kills, 45 digs, and three service aces. Becca Smith stayed close behind in kills over the weekend finishing with 28. Junior Elaina Braun set up Fisher's offense with 90 assists during the tournament, while setter Amy Street also added 40 assists for the Invitational. On defense, junior libero Jenna Waldron helped the Cardinals with a combined 85 digs over the two days.
 
The Cardinals will return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Buffalo State to take on the Bengals.
