The St. John Fisher College volleyball team went 1-1 on Friday at the 20th Annual R.I.T. Invitational.

Fisher defeated SUNY Geneseo 15-13 in the fifth game to win 3-2 over the Blue Knights.  The Cardinals won the first two games of the match.  Alyssa Ziobrowski finished with 20 digs and 12 kills, while Sydney Kandefer added nine kills and eight digs.  Jenna Waldron led Fisher with 34 digs, while Elaina Braun totaled 38 assists.

Fisher lost its second match of the day 3-0 to NYU.

The Cardinals will return to action at 12 p.m. on Saturday and will face either SUNY Cortland, Ithaca College or University of Rochester.
