The St. John Fisher College softball team split its doubleheader with visiting Alfred University on Saturday. After losing the first game 7-5 in eight innings, the Cardinals rebounded and posted a 5-3 over the Saxons in the nightcap.  WIth the win, Fisher (17-15 overall, 8-4 Empire) locks up one of the four spots for the Empire 8 Conference Championship, which will be played on May 2nd and 3rd.

Fisher hosts St. Lawrence at 1 p.m. tomorrow.
