Baseball Drops Two To Oneonta

The St. John Fisher College baseball team had a six-game winning streak come to an end on Wednesday, as the Cardinals lost two games to visiting SUNY Oneonta.  In the first game, Fisher rallied to score two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning and had the tying run on third base, but couldn't get the run across and lost 3-2.

In the nightcap, Fisher's Chad King tallied three hits, but it wasn't enough, as the Cardinals committed five errors and lost 8-3.

Fisher (14-5-1) returns to action on Saturday and Sunday for a four-game series with visiting Ithaca College.
