Softball Uses Long-Ball To Beat Brockport

Sara Dresser homered twice in Thursday's 12-4 win over Brockport.

The St. John Fisher College softball team hit four home runs in a 12-4 win over visiting SUNY Brockport in the second game of Thursday's doubleheader.   Sara Dresser hit two home runs in the contest, while Kristi Bradley hit a grand-slam.  With Fisher up 10-4 in the fifth inning, Samantha Vara ended the game with a two-run homer, bringing the eight-run mercy rule into play.

Fisher lost the first game 6-2, despite a two-run homer from senior Nicole Middleton.
