Softball Takes Two At Medaille

Nicole Middleton was one of three players to hit home runs for Fisher on Wednesday.
The St. John Fisher College softball team made it over the .500 plateau for the first time this season, as the Cardinals, who lost nine of their first 10 games this year, improved to 16-14 with two wins at Medaille College.
 
In the first game, Fisher scored five runs on seven hits in the top of the seventh inning and picked up an 8-3 winSara Dresser (Medina) and Kristi Bradley (Dansville) each picked up two hits and two RBI in the win, while Meghan Graves homered.
 
In the nightcap, Fisher defeated the host Mavericks 14-4 in five innings.  Nicole Middleton and Bradley each hit home runs for Fisher, while Jamie Harmon went 2-for-3 with two runs scored.
