The men's basketball team defeated Hartwick 69-59 in an Empire 8 matchup.  The Cardinals (8-7 overall, 4-2 E8) opened up the second half on a 9-to-1 run and increased its lead to as much as 20.  Chris Baltz led the way for the Cardinals with 20 points with four made 3-point baskets.  Justin Beigel chipped in with 18 points and six rebounds, while Mark Bearden added seven points and three steals. 

As a team, Fisher shot 17-for-21 (81%) from the free throw line compared to 66% so far this season. 

Jan Cocozziello led the Hawks with 21 points on  9-of-15 from the floor. 

Fisher returns to action tomorrow afternoon for another Empire 8 contest against Utica at 4 p.m.
