The St. John Fisher College women's tennins team was defeated by visiting William Smith College 8-1 on Sunday.  Laura Hale (Perry/Warsaw) earned the lone point for the Cardinals with a 6-2, 6-1, straight-sets win at first singles.

The Cardinals (3-3) will return to action at 4 p.m. on Wednesday to take on host SUNY Brockport.
