The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team defeated SUNY Oswego 1-0 in the first game of the Flower City Classic at University of Rochester in the season opener for both teams.  Robert Wick scored in the 65th minute for the game's only goal.   Sophomore Luke Lennox assisted on the goal.  Lennox's shot from 12 yards out was stopped by the Oswego goalie, but Wick drove the ball into an empty net from the left side.

Fisher outshot Oswego 16-5.  Freshman goalie Robert Weigand made three saves to earn the win.

Fisher will return to action at 12 p.m. on Sunday and will face SUNY Oswego.
