Season Ends For Baseball With Loss to SUNY Cortland

The greatest season in the 20-year history of baseball at St. John Fisher College ended on Friday afternoon, as SUNY Cortland eliminated the Cardinals in the New York Regional of the NCAA Division III Championship.  With the loss, Fisher finishes the year with a 28-13 overall record - the most wins in the program's history.

Fisher trailed 2-0 going into the fourth inning, before the Cardinals took the lead with a three-run third inning.  The Cortland bats, however, woke up and scored 14 runs over the next three innings to take command.
