The St. John Fisher College men's lacrosse program reached double-digits in the win column for the first time in the six-year history of the sportr, as the Cardinals improved to 10-6 overall with a 12-6 win over Hartwick College in the semifinals of the ECAC Upstate Championship.
With the win, Fisher advances to the finals and will play host R.I.T. at 12 p.m. on Sunday in the championship game.
With the game tied at 1-1, going into the second quarter, Fisher scored the game's next nine goals over a span of nearly 29 minutes to pull away.
Senior Matt Hargather finished with four goals, while freshman Dave Malone registered three goals and three assists.
