The St. John Fisher College women's lacrosse team moved to 6-2 on the year and 2-0 in the Empire 8 Conference with a 17-6 win over visiting Utica College on Saturday. The Cardinals, who had eight different players enjoy multi-point games, jumped out to 5-0 lead and never looked back.
Laurie Quackenbush and Lauren Glavin each finished with two goals and two assists, while seniors Theresa Nobilski (four assists) and Caitlin Navor (one goal, three assists) also picked up four points on the day.
Haley Koperski scored three goals, as did Trish Scudder, a personal-best for the freshman. Ashley Fenyn scored two goals, while Ramona Walters scored her first goal of the year and also assisted on a goal.
Jillian Lockwood, Emma Stutzman and Meg Geatrakas each scored a goal, while Katie Glavin and Kyle Simon each recorded an assist.
Goalie Danielle Murphy played the first half and made seven saves, while allowing two goals. Freshman goalie Vicky Sahm played the second half and stopped six shots.
Fisher will return to action at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
