The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss to host Stevens in the finals of the Empire 8 Conference Championship on Sunday. With the win, the Ducks, ranked 10th in the latest national poll, earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Championship Playoffs.

Empire 8 Player of the Year Luke Lennox (The Harley School/Rochester) led the Cardinals with five shots in the loss, while goalie Adam Durst (Gates Chili/Rochester) recorded a game-high six saves between the pipes.

Fisher (11-7-1, 4-3-1 Empire 8) will await the selection committee to determine a potential ECAC Championship matchup.
